“THIS WEEK IN MXA WITH JOSH MOSIMAN?” NEW RUBBER, STEEL GRATES, CARBON BIKE, TRIPLE CLAMPS & JOSH’S THREE NATIONAL BIKES

The 2023 AMA National Motocross Championship series starts this Saturday at Pala Raceway, and Motocross Action’s Assistant Editor, Josh Mosiman, is planning to race the first three rounds on three different brands for an MXA test. In this video, Josh highlights the new addition of metal starting grates for the outdoor races and  tests the new Maxxis tires and Luxon MX’s new Gen-3 triple clamps for the 2023 Yamaha YZ450F. Also, Dennis Stapleton and Trevor Nelson split away from he MXA gang and went to the Dunlop MX34 tire intro (which was 100 miles away for the Maxxis intro at a different track on the same day). We also share an interview with Dunlop’s Chris Siebenhaar, explaining the details of the new MX34 tires. Additionally, Josh talks all about the new Motocross Action Fantasy League for the AMA National Motocross series and climbs a narrow country road on the Swiss-made Thomus Sliker road bike that he’s using for AMA National training—ignoring the panting, it’s hard to climb and talk at the same time.
