The Oakland Supercross is here, only four weeks later than originally planned! However, the rescheduled Supercross is set to go and we sent MXA’s Digital Editor, Trevor Nelson, through the pits to get up close and personal with all of the shiny bikes before they hit the dirt in Northern California.

The 2023 Oakland Supercross is the fifth race of the Monster Energy Supercross season and all the mechanics have been prepping their bikes for the race on Saturday. Eli Tomac has been dominant this year, but an uncharacteristic fifth in Tampa has tightened the points gap. Cooper Webb, Chase Sexton, and Aaron Plessinger were on the podium last weekend, and they each want to be back up there again in Oakland. Also, the 250SX West Coast riders, like Jett Lawrence, Levi Kitchen, RJ Hampshire, Cameron McAdoo, and more are lining back up this weekend too.
