250 MOTO 1 RESULTS
Hunter Lawrence grabbed the holeshot with Haiden Deegan chasing closely behind in second. Ryder Difrancesco got a great start racing in third and would hold off Tom Vialle. However this would all change several laps in when both of the riders would collide in the turn just before the finish line.
At 20 minutes remaining, Jo Shimoda would make the pass for third on his teammate Seth Hammaker but several turns later, Seth went full send on Larocco’s Leap taking back third and showing the importance of hitting the Leap. This also allowed Justin Cooper to close the gap the three way battle continued. One lap later, Jo Shimoda made the pass once again and Justin Cooper would drop two positions after supermanning on flat ground.
Jo would eventually mistake dropping several positions allowing Seth Hammaker to keep third for the meantime. With 7 minutes left, Rj Hampshire made the pass on Seth for third. As Seth was bumped down to fourth, the racing didn’t stop as Justin Cooper entered the equation once again. Hunter Lawrence would go on to win another moto with over 13 seconds between him and second place’s Haiden Deegan.
Justin Cooper would be docked 5 points after jumping on a red cross.
Jo Shimoda would also be penalized one position after going off course and failing to slow down.
