450 MAIN EVENT RESULTS // 2023 TAMPA SUPERCROSS

The 2023 Monster Energy Supercross series has made its way back to Raymond James Stadium. The stadium had faced inclement weather just before opening ceremonies but has slightly taken a breather, making us cross out fingers it doesn’t turn out to be a full blown mudder. Regardless of the weather the show must go on and thankfully the 450 class has remained to be exciting at each round this season. Eli Tomac still holds the red plate in hand while Chase Sexton and Cooper Webb are in reaching distance of the coveted number plate.

So will Eli Tomac continue his winning domination or will another 450 rider rise to occasion? Find out down below as we report all the action LIVE.

The Race Results for the 450 class are presented to you by FXR.

450 MAIN EVENT RESULTS

Cooper Webb and Chase Sexton would slide across the holeshot line at the start of the Main Event with Chase running away with the lead by the second turn.

During the opening lap, Jason Anderson and Justin Barcia would be found with their bikes glued together off the track after Jason tried to take away Barcia’s line.

After five minutes, Eli Tomac who didn’t get the best of starts had closed the gap on fourth place’s Ken Roczen. However, Eli would lose that progress he had made a couple of minutes later.

with 12 minutes left, Chase made a crucial mistake in the sand section allowing Cooper Webb to gain on the race leader.

What is one of the most remarkable parts of the race was back in seventh place where both Jason Anderson and Justin Barcia had battled through the entire field.

With five minutes left, the gap between Cooper Webb and Chase Sexton had vanished. Two minutes later, Cooper would have an incredible recovery through the whoops but a mistake in Chase’s part would result in no time loss for the number 2.

With just two minutes left in the race, Chase Sexton would crash resulting in the lead being handed to Cooper.

Cooper would win the Main Event with a 6 second lead.
