WATCH THE FINAL 250/450 GRAND PRIX OF THE YEAR IN UNDER 7 MINUTES

For Jeffrey Herlings and Jorge Prado, the 2018 250/450 World Motocross Championships have been memorable. Over 20 Grands Prix the two KTM riders strung together an amazing number of victories. No offense to the two riders, but they brought their A-Game to a field of competitors who brought their C-Game. The end result was a total lack of drama. It was never who is going to win this weekend, by how much they were going to win by. The final GP was also the third GP held in Italy, but the only viable contender for Herlings in the 450 class, Tony Cairoli, didn’t ride because of an injury. Then, in the 250 class, the current 250 World Champion, Pauls Jonass, elected to skip the final GP to get his ACL repaired so that he’d be ready for the 2019 season. The 2018 MXGP series was record setting, but it was also boring.
