UPDATED POINT STANDINGS (AFTER ROUND 16 OF 17)

The Supercross season is nearing it’s end in 2023 with only one more round remaining at Salt Lake City. The points hunt in the 450 class has been nothing short of exciting ended with tragedy at Nashville for plenty race winning riders. Cooper Webb, Justin Barcia, and Jason Anderson would all finish their season three races early. With the addition of other riders sitting out injured including Aaron Plessinger, Christian Craig, and many more, the factory roster heading into Denver was looking sparse.

Eli Tomac has the points lead in his grasp with only one rider standing in his way from a clinch, Chase Sexton. We suspect Eli will play it safe in the last two rounds but it’s now or never for the Honda rider if he wants any chance at the 450 title.

In the 250 class, it is a guaranteed clinch for Jett Lawrence if he can finish 10th or better in Denver. His brother Hunter has already clinched the 250 East title and we believe the same will happen when the gate drops in Empower Field. Scroll down below to find out what happened after Round 16 and be sure to read our Race Results for all the info on the races.

250 WEST CLASS POINT STANDINGS (AFTER ROUND 8 OF 9)

While it may not be the race Jett wanted to win the championship on, the title was earned the second he passed ninth place. Jett would make his way up to third but it would be Rj Hampshire who would claim the Main Event win in Denver. With Levi Kitchen finishing in second, this has closed the gap between him and Enzo Lopes on their battle for third in the championship which we’ll conclude at Salt Lake City.
